The Bush-Whacker HD-121 Heavy Duty Rotary Cutter is a powerful and efficient solution for agricultural, commercial, and rugged mowing applications. With its durable 10-gauge smooth top deck design, robust gearboxes, and hydraulic adjustments, it ensures reliable performance for cutting tasks. Perfect for handling challenging terrains and vegetation, this rotary cutter is built for durability and ease of use.

Key Features

• High-Capacity Gearboxes: 250 HP main or transfer box with 1 3/4" 20-splined input/output shafts. 120 HP outboard boxes with a 1 3/4" input shaft and 2" output shaft. Constructed with malleable housings, carburized and hardened gears/shafts, tapered, and ball bearings.
• Heavy-Duty Slip Clutch: Spring-type adjustment with four friction discs on the main shaft. Includes shock-absorbing rubber elements connected to splined yokes for outboard protection.
• Rugged Blades: Made from 1/2" x 4" alloy spring steel with an airlift design. Free-swinging blades and an 8-inch overlap ensure clean and effective cutting. Blade tip speed: 15,775 FPM.
• Durable Deck Construction: Smooth 10-gauge skin with 1/4" side skirts and heavy-duty 1/2" and 3/8" underframe for added strength. Electric-welded T-frame for reliability and longevity.
• Hydraulic Adjustments: Hydraulic cylinder controls for cutting and traveling height adjustments (pull and semi-mount models).
• Heavy-Duty Tires: Standard two solid rubber tires with independent shock-absorbing rear suspension. Optional: 25” treaded laminate, used aircraft tires, or foam-filled aircraft tires.
• Safety and Maintenance Features: Standard front and rear chain guards for debris control. Replaceable skid shoes and quick-release guards for convenient inspection and maintenance.
