Description:
New recording by Andrei Gavrilov! Overwhelming and shocking! Schumann & Mussorgsky! Russian virtuoso Andrei Gavrylov, who made his first visit to Japan in 18 years in 2019, and then again in November 2020 amidst the new Corona disaster, shocked audiences everywhere and received a great ovation. The new recording to be released as the first joint project between Unzipped Classical Music, which Gavrylov is developing on his official website, and Da Vinci Classic is Schumann and Mussorgsky, also performed during his 2019 tour of Japan! In 1974, at the age of just 18, Schumann won the International Tchaikovsky Competition and enjoyed great success at the Salzburg Festival, where he appeared as Richter's understudy, but was subsequently persecuted by the KGB that awaited him. However, he was persecuted by the KGB, and then, with the approval of Gorbachev, the then general secretary of the Communist Party, he became the first artist in the former Soviet Union to be granted permission to stay outside the country without going into exile. Dramatic dunamik with strong percussion and delicate touch. The power is so tremendous that at times one fears the piano will break. His performances, which combine extreme boldness and delicacy, have always been controversial, but here is the "present" that Gavrylov has arrived at after overcoming the days of suffering and a hiatus from performing that followed his worldwide success in the early 1990s. Here is the "present" that Gavrylov has arrived at. Tokyo M-Plus
