These high quality industrial electric chain hoists by Kito (Harrington) will let you safely and reliably lift in your brewery or business. 

The hoists come with 15' of lift chain, a chain bag, and a trolley for moving the hoist on an I beam. They are 1 ton capacity, meet ASME B30.16, are IP55 for dust and water protection (SER model) and at rated capacity the load bearing parts are stressed to only 25% of their limit.

The SER 010L 500kg and 1 Ton single phase electric chain hoists and trolley can be wired for 110/18A or 220V/9A (it is wired 220V unless otherwise specified). They come with a 15' power cable to which a plug can be added (e.g. L6-30) or they can be hardwired into a main electrical panel (not the BREWHA Power Controller). The hoists have 11' of hand chain for moving the trolley, 15' of hook chain and have 16"(500kg) / 18"(1T) headroom (from bottom of I beam to center of lift hook).

The SHB 010 1 Ton manual chain hoist and trolley has 11' of hand chain for moving the trolley, 11' of hand chain for lifting the hook, 15' of hook chain and has only 4.5" headroom (from bottom of I beam to center of lift hook). It is ideal for use with low ceilings where clearance for the Mash Colander is limited (see BIAC beer brewing system specifications page for recommended ceiling heights that will accommodate the electric hoist).

The FER010 food grade 1 Ton three phase hoist has 15' of hook chain and 19.5" of headroom (from bottom of I beam to center of lift hook) and is specifically designed for use in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. It uses food-grade lubricants, and stainless steel/nickel plated hardware. Pricing shown below is for the hoist only. It can be custom-ordered with a push/pull trolley (not geared so has no hand chain to move it) or a fully automatic electric trolley.

For your gantry for the 1.5-7BBL systems, we suggest looking at the products offered by Global Industrial as they have a wide selection. For the 5BBL and smaller, a 2000lb gantry is generally sufficient, the 7BBL requires a 4000lb gantry. The 1.5BBL and 3BBL require minimum 8' inside width (9' or 10' is recommended for convenience), the 5BBL requires minimum 9' width (10' or 11' recommended) and the 7BBL requires minimum 10' inside width (11' or 12' recommended). 

For the 15BBL brewery, since those tanks are too large for casters, the gantry needs to move to each fermenter on brew day. Since large gantries (2T for the 15BBL) are heavy and hard to move, we recommend the Workstation Gantry that we list above. It has four posts that sit on the outside, and a moveable bridge that moves up and down your brew space. With that and the electric trolley on the ERM 2T hoist, you are able to easily position your hoist anywhere in your brewspace and be able to effortlessly move items (grain bags, Mash Colander, fermentor lids, etc.) wherever you need them.

Note: the standard adjustable trolley width for the SER geared trolley is 58-127mm; a wider shaft can be purchased separately for larger I beams (contact us for details).
