One of these buckles is attached by a ring and the other by a hinged joint - so although very, very similar these spurs are not a pair.
These spurs have short necks with bulbous ends and very small rowels.
One is stamped "Maxwell, 9, Dover Street, London R.S." inside the heel band. This was Maxwell's early 20th century address. The stamp on the other spur is too rubbed to read.
The spurs have old black straps
