Horizontal V Blocks

Extremely versatile locator for cylindrical workpieces. Locating surfaces are precision ground and accurately qualified in relation to the mounting holes. Two tapped holes on the end can be used to mount stops or clamps.

Application Information

To locate a workpiece from two different diameters simultaneously, use Height Shims and/or Multipurpose Riser Blocks to raise one V block to the proper level.

In this example, Support Cylinders are used as end stops for shafts located in Horizontal V Blocks.

Mounting

Fasten with two Locating Screws (order separately below).
