Test-fit the bracket at the factory mounting points first. Fasteners may already be in place from your vehicle; if not, standard hardware from any auto parts store will work. Torque specs are in your service manual.

Can I paint this bracket before installation?

Yes. Clean the bracket, apply primer, then your choice of paint. Let cure fully before bolting on. Paint makes no difference to how it mounts.

Is this a direct replacement, or will I need to modify my bumper cover?
